I'm so excited to share this brand new face & body soap with you! Meet "Mint Humbug" , named after a minty boiled sweet from my childhood - anyone know it?
Like all of our soaps, it is made with organic, skin loving oils like olive, coconut, shea and sunflower. It also contains organic kaolin clay which gives a 'slippery' feel so makes a great shaving soap. The swirly pattern is made with organic activated charcoal which is known for its purifying abilities. The scent is a blend of Cajeput and Peppermint organic essential oils so it smells, fresh, fresh, fresh! Having one of these in the shower feels like being in one of those steam rooms in a spa! These essential oils give you the feeling of being able to breathe more easily.

If you have been following us for a while, you will already know that we grow Calendula flowers every year and use the petals in "The Sunny Side" soap. We also collect the seeds but always have far more than we need so thought it would be a nice idea to share them. If you would like a packet of seeds included in your next order, just leave a message in the notes field.
They are very easily to grow. They take a little while to get started but will flower the whole summer and autumn. They are a great companion plant and will attract insects to your garden. The flowers can be eaten fresh in salads or dried and used in tea or skincare products.
To dry the flowers, remove the petals and spread them on a tea towel. Leave them for a couple of days to completely dry (and allow any insects to disappear!).
